We all consume media on a daily basis — whether that's reading a newspaper, skimming a story in an online publication, listening to the radio while driving to and from work... the list goes on. And while we're faced with the challenge of sifting through the noise, media members work tirelessly to craft and catch your attention with compelling stories.
So how do they do it? How do they take mere events and turn them into personal, relatable stories — the kinds that resonate with us, the kinds that we can feel? Our panel is here to tell you all that and more since storytelling is a valuable skill we can all employ in our respective jobs.
Join us to hear from three of Chattanooga's best storytellers: Allison Shirk-Collins (Times Free Press), John Martin (WRCB), Josh Roe (WTVC). Heed PR will moderate the panel as they share the ins and outs of a storyteller's mindset. You'll walk away with a better understanding of how you can use storytelling in your own professional pursuits.
